*P&A REPORT: Given by John D.

Good afternoon members of the Beaver Valley Area Service Committee of Narcotic Anonymous.  At our May 1, 2005 service meeting I announced a learning day event to be held during the combined Growing Tree & Clean for Today picnic. This event will focus on our existing Area policy.  The time of this event has not yet been established but it will happen sometime between our two planned speaker meetings.

At this time I would like to request a check for $44.00 to be made out to Henderson’s Printing to cover expenses for 30 copies of our current policy.  This will aid interested members in following along during this important and educational event.

As I said in May, LETS TAKE PRIDE IN WHAT WE HAVE and make this a successful event.  ALL ARE WELCOMED.

The intent of this learning event is to hopefully come to a better understanding of our Area Policy, and to correct any unclear wording that has seemed to cause some confusion between some of our members.

In addition, I was directed to contact World Service, at our June meeting concerning the attendance of police and news media at one of our local meetings.  A copy of this communication is included with this report.  It can also be viewed on our website.  More to be revealed concerning this issue.

It has been an honor serving this Area as your Area Policy and Administration chair this past year and I hope to continue serving this area in the future.

Thanks for the opportunity to serve,

                                                                                    Johnny D. - P&A Chairperson
